Holualoa Hardwoods x Lake House Woodwork
Custom Milling & Drying in Holualoa, Hawaii
The Mill
Lake House Woodwork has teamed up with Holualoa Hardwoods, a sawmill that specializes in milling Hawai'i-grown hardwoods.
Owned and operated by Kanoa Kimball, the mill is situated on a 160 acre tree farm on the slopes of Hualālai. Kanoa's family has been planting this land with timber trees since 1994.
With over 60 species of timber trees planted, much of the wood we mill comes from the tree farm, but we also source fallen or scheduled-for-removal trees from around the west side of Hawai'i island.
The mill is capable of cutting dimensional lumber and slabs, and has a dedicated kiln for drying.
